About this Currency Converter

This converter loads the latest daily exchange rates (relative to 1 US dollar) from a free public rate service when the page opens, covering fourteen common currencies including PKR, INR, AED and SAR. If you are offline and the live rates cannot load, it falls back to built-in approximate rates and tells you clearly. Either way, confirm the final rate with your bank or exchange before sending money, because they add their own spread and fees.

Frequently asked questions

Are these live exchange rates?

Yes. When the page opens it fetches the latest daily rates (updated once a day by the provider). If that fetch fails, the page uses approximate rates and says so under the result.

Why will my bank give me less?

Banks and money changers add a spread and fees on top of the market rate, so the amount you receive is usually lower.
